5 Days Down 51 to go!

Preston has been a trooper. He has struggled with muscle spasms and had a reverse reaction to Valum. He had his wheelchair delivered and it is way too big. Although with the constanst love and support from friends, family and neighbors it has made all three of us feel like we can get through this. The Jim Clawson family decided Preston needed a Nintndo DS and took it upon themelves to purchase one and then ask for donations from family and friends. Their son Asher was the first one to pull out his wallet. Asher has had health problems himself and is one of the smartest, strongest 10 year olds I know. When the Mike Dunston family found out they immeditly made dozens of cards and posters for Prestons room and brought down a rocking lovsac that has made our care for Preston so much easier. We have had food brought in, cookies brought over by The Scott Horvath family, and thanks so my brother and Jim Clawson, Preston has received priesthood blessings. I am so thankful my brother Michael chooses to live his life in a worthy manner that he can provide the priesthood to our whole family. He is such and example.
Yesterday (Saturday) was such a fun day for us. Preston played his nintendo, we went to wal-mart as a family and let him pick out a game, we came home and went for a walk in his wheelchair, and we got visitors all day. Grandma Gloria, Granpa Mike, My brother and his amazing girls, Rob Day, Prestons grandpa and Grandma Great Westbrook, The Clawsons, Our backdoor neighbors (will and emmy), Grandpa Jack and Grandma Kay and Uncle Dave and Aunt Jill who brought Preston floam which I havent set down since.
Below you will see something that made Prestons day... It made him so happy! Jack and Kay never cease to amaze me. They are constantly thinking of ways to make the grandkids happy. And the fact that they both think Outside the box does help to create the latest and greatest thing to talk about. To show just how odd they can be I am also going to attach how they showed up to our house last Halloween to see Preston. Thanks Jack and Kay! WE LOVE YOU!

Lindsay, I just hopped on to your blog to see what's new with you and I am completely heart broken! I'm so sorry you guys are going through this difficult ordeal! I wish I could hug and kiss you all! I know there is nothing worse than not being able to "make it better" for your baby! Hang in there! He is a wonderful, brave and tough kid! He will come out on top, and so will you guys! You are in our thoughts and prayers! I wish there was something more I could do! I'll call you later!
