A race we will always win!

Every year my sister and I arrive at back to school night a half hour early, park in the fire lane right out in front of the doors of the elementary and run for our children's classrooms.  We want to be the first ones there.  WHY?  you ask???

Well it is simple you see...  We want to be the ROOM MOTHERS!  We will not risk another loving parent taking our spot.

Although,

today we were informed the race is pretty much all on our own, we are racing nobody, the job as a room parent isn't one that people fight over, this race is one we will always win!  Will we relax next year?  park legally?  come on time or maybe even late?

NOT A CHANCE!

We got this from our mother, we are over the top do all you can do moms and it is super fun.  It seems so odd to me the a mom wouldn't want to be a room mom. 

Here's to another year of fun and creative days with sweet little kids.  They will only be little for a short time.

At Legacy this year Mcally and Preston are the only ones there.  Kastan is in Jr. High and Kalen in High School.

Prestons new school shoes his Grandma Great picked out for him.  He LOVES them.  and her tooo.

Tonight Grandma Gloria took us all to see Karate kid and tomorrow we will have one more day of fun before the big day starts. 

Good Luck to our 2nd grader.  We know you will do wonderful.
