December 24th Olive, hard work and Christmas Jammies

Olive the other reindeer came by the Barratt home today to drop off a book about the true meaning of Christmas... She wanted to make sure Preston knew about Jesus and remembered that when he opened his presents in the morning that we are celebrating The birthday of Jesus Christ.

Today was a fun day of preparing home made cookies, potato casserole for the big family party and last minute preparations. Preston was a big help today.
We went to my Grandparents home tonight for a big family party. I love that tradition.

Our little family tradition is opening new Jammie's to wear Christmas eve and then we usually wear them all day on Christmas.

Preston made some reindeer food with special sugar and oatmeal for the reindeer. He spread it out in little piles on the front walk way. We also put a "magic key" under the door mat for Santa to get in.
